Igniting Our Community

As the past few years have demonstrated, never before has our 旅客ian mission, and our singular Catholic, college-preparatory education, been more crucial than it is today. The world in which we live presents all of us, especially our young people, with unparalleled challenges. I am proud to say that our community has responded to these challenges in inspiring ways. In the fifty years I have been affiliated with Saint 旅客 – as a student, 校友, 一个老师, and now as president – I have never seen our school in a better place. But we must continue to advance our mission. While it won’t be easy, it is imperative that we succeed for future generations of our community.

We have broken down the campaign goals into initial/immediate priorities that will be funded over the next 2-4 years and longer-term aspirational priorities to be funded and achieved over the next 3-5 years.

• Update individual classrooms and learning spaces with improved lighting, technology, and acoustics. 
• Install a heat, ventilation, and air conditioning system that provides consistent, comfortable, and high-quality air and temperature throughout the school.

• • Provide increased endowment funding for tuition assistance through the creation of named scholarship funds. Build on the success of endowments similar to the Br. Leo Ryan, C.S.V. 养老. 
  • Secure endowment funds to create additional merit scholarship grants to qualifying students. 
  • Build on existing endowment for faculty professional development grants and support.

• Reorient and redesign the backyard space to accommodate four athletic fields: softball, 棒球, and two football/soccer/lacrosse fields. 
• Include high-performance field turf and necessary elements including netting, scoreboards, and dugouts. 
• Allow for inclusion of lights and stands, pending village approval.

• Increase endowment funding for tuition assistance. 
• Establish an endowment to support the recruitment and retention of the best Catholic school faculty
